Document Purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how E‑Motion collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and other applicable Australian laws. It should be read together with the E‑Motion Customer Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all customers, prospective customers, website visitors, suppliers and other individuals who interact with E‑Motion.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect identity details, contact information, delivery information, purchase history, warranty and service records, finance-related information where applicable, correspondence, website usage data, IP address, device information, cookies, reviews, photographs or videos voluntarily supplied, and any other information necessary to provide our products and services.
3. How Information is Collected
Information is collected directly from you, through our website, online forms, customer accounts, showroom visits, telephone calls, emails, warranty claims, service bookings, competitions, surveys and cookies or similar technologies.
4. Why We Collect Personal Information
To process orders, provide products and services, administer warranties, service packs and repairs, deliver goods, manage customer accounts, improve our website, detect fraud, comply with legal obligations and communicate with customers.
5. Marketing
Where permitted by law we may send marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time. Transactional communications relating to orders, warranties, recalls and servicing may continue where reasonably necessary.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enable website functionality, remember preferences, measure performance and improve customer experience. 7. Third Parties

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil legal, taxation, warranty, servicing, accounting and operational obligations before being securely destroyed or de-identified where appropriate.
11. Access and Correction
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information. We may verify your identity before responding and may refuse requests only where permitted by law.
12. Customer Reviews, Images and Testimonials
Where you voluntarily provide reviews, photographs or testimonials, or expressly consent, E‑Motion may use that material for marketing purposes in accordance with the Customer Terms & Conditions. Consent for future use may be withdrawn where required by law.
13. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children except where reasonably necessary for a transaction involving a parent or guardian, such as a family purchase or event booking.
14. Data Breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, E‑Motion will respond in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and applicable law.
15. Complaints
Privacy complaints should be directed to our Privacy Officer. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. If you are dissatisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
16. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website together with its effective date.
